Personal loan leader United Asia Finance Limited (“UA”) recently announced that it had become the first and only money lender in the industry with a revolving loan enabling customers to have access round-the-clock cash transfer anytime anywhere via website, telephone or APP (隨時隨地24小時透過網站、電話或APP即撳即過數)* with connection to the “Faster Payment System” (FPS) launched by Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), offering the utmost convenience for UA e-Cash revolving loan customers to transfer funds, when needed, even outside of office hours. This not only signifies UA being the leader of the industry, but also shows UA’s ability in keeping abreast of rapid financial innovations in Hong Kong.

Near 2 million e-Cash transactions since 2000, with latest upgrade edition connects to FPS

Back in 2000, UA had launched e-Cash Revolving Loan. Customers can enjoy unlimited access to approved credit upon loan approval, an ideal choice of loan services of utmost flexibility and convenience. Up to now, almost 2 million e-Cash Revolving Loan transactions have been reached. The latest FPS upgrade allows all customers of e-Cash Revolving Loan to enjoy unlimited round-the-clock instant cash transfer* service via phone, website or mobile app instruction regardless of time and place. This simply frees users from any specific time constraint, and further enhances service quality and flexibility, providing the ultimate hassle-free loan services to customers; again a validation of UA’s customer-oriented commitment which has never changed over the years.

Announces recent setup of FinTech and Innovation Department

According to UA’s internal data, the utilization rate of the company’s “i-Money” and “NO SHOW” personal loan services accounted for 30% of its total loans in 2018. Internal data of UA also showed that more than 50% of customers aged 28 or below prefer loan services with “no face-to-face contact required”. Securing loans through online platforms will therefore be an important trend going forward. As such, UA recently announced the establishment of a FinTech and Innovation Department, and has pledged to put more resources into developing the new department, with a focus on enhancing the quality and standard of information technology. Furthermore, the company will direct equal focus on developing the online robotics process automation loan service and offline branch service as it believes direct and thorough communication is still the key to understanding what customers actually need, leading to the provision of customized, flexible and efficient loan services.
