For the finale event in 2019, we participated in the charity run and managed the booth activity which is held by St. James ’Settlement - being a Diamond Sponsor for two consecutive years. This year, we continue to run for fitness and deliver our love to the community.

Working with a group of elderly to make an environmental-friendly handmade coffee soap. We first master the skills and then guide them to finish the product. They are all smart and energetic. The handmade coffee soap was completed smoothly, full of joy and happiness.

Through home visit activity, we express care, bring joy and give warmth to the elderly with low mobility or who live alone. We handed out gift packs of health food and daily necessities to make them feel love and care.

Nowadays, most of the meals are normally prepared by parents. It’s amazed that the millennial is talented in cooking. After spending a few hours in the afternoon, they prepared a delicious and sugary apple pie and brought back home to share with their beloved family members.

Making Chinese knotting with elderly, they shared their life lessons and experience to us. It's a treasure moment to reminisce about the old times.

The wind is mild and the sun is bright. It was such a wonderful day to go for a walk. We teamed up with a group of elderly to take a stroll in the country trail. Get some fresh air and enjoy the healthy journey!

In 2018, the Corporate Volunteer Team actively expanded its volunteer service for elderly, giving them much more care and support through diversified activities, such as the Chinese New Year DIY class, Jogging and Easter Celebration with elderly.

In addition, we conducted an Easter Fun Day for the children from low-income families to experience the joy and warmth of the festival.

The Corporate Volunteer Team participated into different service areas, environment protection and conservation - helping to plant trees and build green roofs with Po Leung Kuk.

In addition, we partnered with Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, walked through the Ping Shan Heritage Trail with elderly to experience the lives and culture of the early clan settlers of the New Territories, and Hong Kong ’s heritage.

We also conducted other 3 activities, like Community Canteen and Charity Run, continuously share love and care to those in need.

The Corporate Volunteer Team is proactively expanding its services coverage, partnered with Po Leung Kuk, The Hub Hong Kong and Hong Kong Family Welfare Society, organizing various activities like Chinese New Year Charity Walk and Birthday Party with children from low-income families etc. We also assist in observing and reporting the health situation of the elderly to ensure those in need can receive immediate support.

The Corporate Volunteer Team has immediately partnered with Po Leung Kuk,
St James' Settlement and Children’s Heart Foundation on its 1st year, organizing a series of volunteer services, such as Mooncake Making with elders, Elderly Home Visit and Heart-to-Heart Charity Walk etc.

United Asia Finance established its own Corporate Volunteer Team in 2015, we aim to help different levels of people in Hong Kong by gathering the teamwork and love from our colleagues. Leading by our CEO & Managing Director Mr. Akihiro Nagahara, we plan and implement various volunteer services to support the community.

UA Finance has dedicated more than 4,000 hours of voluntary service to the community which have benefited over 2,000 citizens.
