To assist the public in identifying SMS senders, UA Finance (UA) has participated in the "SMS Sender Registration Scheme" established by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Hong Kong Association of Banks, and the Office of the Communications Authority, and the telecommunications industry.
Starting from September 19, 2025, UA will only use "Registered SMS Sender IDs" starting with "#" to send one-way SMS to customers:
#UAFinance
Please note that the Scheme is not applicable to:
1. SMS messages of which receiving parties are expected to reply to the senders via phone numbers ("two-way SMS"*); or
2. Local subscribers of Single-Card-Multiple-Numbers/One-Card-Two-Numbers mobile services provided by non-Hong Kong operators.
*Two-way SMS from UA will be sent from the phone number +852 64505074 / +852 64521861 / +852 59994016 to the customer's registered mobile number. When customers receive a two-way SMS, please simply reply according to the instructions and remember not to reply with any sensitive personal information.
If you receive an SMS from an unknown sender, please be vigilant and do not click on suspicious link or open any attachments. Should you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to contact the UA customer service hotline at +852 26818888 immediately.
