Awarded in "CAPITAL Merits of Achievement in Banking and Finance 2019" for the 10th Consecutive Year
The award presentation ceremony of the “CAPITAL Merits of Achievement in Banking and Finance 2019” was successfully held at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong on October 11, 2019. United Asia Finance (“UA”) has been awarded in “Awarded in "CAPITAL Merits of Achievement in Banking and Finance" for the 10th consecutive year.
The objective of the award is to credit those enterprises of banking and finance for their outstanding performance and continuous contribution to the stability and prosperity of Hong Kong economy. All the awardees are strictly chosen by a judging panel comprised of professional editorial office of Capital Magazine and renowned political and business leaders in Hong Kong. The assessment criteria are based on different aspects of performance of the enterprise including overall performance of corporation, service quality, customer relations, marketing strategy, reputation and goodwill. The award continuously granted to UA for the tenth year which is definitely the strong evidence to prove and reassert the leading position of UA in the consumer finance industry.
Mr. Akihiro Nagahara, CEO & Managing Director of UA, shared on stage after receiving the trophy from Mr. Michael Fan, Chairman of Hong Kong Society of Economists, “For 26 years since the establishment of UA in 1993, adhering to our service motto of “Customer First", we are always the same in serving our customers with “true sincerity from the heart”. With our professional, comprehensive and caring services, we aim to help our customers solve all their financial problems and be carefree. Till 2018, we have served over 520,000 customers in Hong Kong. Apart from the quality service we offer, we strive to keep abreast of the market trend and development of the technology to pioneer different innovative loan products to better serve our customers with any financial needs. In 1993, we pioneered “Debts Consolidation Loan” and introduced that new idea of loan product to the market. In the years that followed, we continued to pioneer different innovative products which included the introduction of the fully online personal loan “i-Money Internet Personal Loan” in 2000, the first time ever that the whole loan process from application, approval to disbursement can be completed on internet without the need to show up in person.
In order to keep staying at the forefront of the market and technology advancement, the FinTech and Innovation Department was set up in January 2019, a proactive move and determination of us to stay with the most advanced development of technology. It is hoped that by integrating the most advanced technology together with the experience and wisdom gained from the traditional industry, we can elevate the service quality and scope of service to next level for customers and continue to lead the industry to march forwards
Looking forwards, UA will continue to invest even more resources to keep pace with the advanced technology so as to keep realizing our promise of most professional, caring and flexible loan services for customers, enabling all of them to ‘let go of worries’.
