Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Application

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the enterprise application team to build and maintain business and office workflow systems
  • Collaborate with key Business Stakeholders, Project Manager, Architect, Developers, Testers and Infrastructure Manager to effectively contribute to the technology solutions and manage the project transition from analysis through to design and deliver
  • Ensure awareness, involvement and support from the key stakeholders and participants by maintaining robust communication on the project status throughout its life cycle
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship and guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
  • Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits

Job Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Computer Science, IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of IT experience preferably in the financial sector with proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system development projects in a structured environment
  • Solid experience in IT system development, design concepts and development best practices and tools
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with developing web applications with Java Spring Boot/Cloud framework, Microservices, and Rest APIs
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Proficiency with DevOps and CI/CD tools and methodology
  • Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external business stakeholders
  • Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
